Customize to fit your application

kpVantage® is designed with flexibility in mind, offering multiple structure options to match the specific performance needs of each application. Whether used as a standalone copolyester base film, enhanced with high-barrier coatings (HBC), or laminated with PCTFE (Aclar®) for advanced moisture protection, kpVantage can be tailored to deliver the right balance of barrier, clarity, and thermoforming performance. This versatility allows packaging teams to fine-tune material selection without moving away from a consistent, vinyl-free platform.

Barrier Options are Available

kpVantage® offers a wide range of barrier performance depending on the structure selected, making it suitable for applications from moderate protection to high-barrier requirements. When used as a base polyester film, kpVantage delivers consistent low-barrier performance with excellent clarity and forming stability. For more demanding applications, kpVantage can be combined with high-barrier coatings (HBC) or laminated with PCTFE achieving moisture and oxygen barrier levels comparable to traditional PVdC- and Aclar-based structures. In higher-performance configurations, kpVantage structures can reach MVTR levels consistent with 90–210 g/m² PVdC equivalents, providing a vinyl-free pathway to high-barrier pharmaceutical packaging.

From Concept to Commercialization—Backed by Experts

Selecting the right film is only part of the equation. At our i.center, packaging concepts are rapidly evaluated through modeling, prototyping, and stability analysis to ensure the right material and structure are chosen from the start. Supported by application engineering expertise, teams can confidently scale from development to full production with guidance on forming performance, sealing, and line optimization—helping reduce time, cost, and risk throughout the process.
