CO2 reductions by using PCR

kp has been able to avoid 330k tonnes of CO2 emissions by using recycled material. 21.5% post-consumer recycled material is processed in our packaging.

Team activities

Our teams at various locations around the world regularly support environmental activities. Whether it's planting native trees, beach or street clean-ups, our employees are always ready to help.

Investing in Photovoltaics

PV has been installed at the site in Thailand which saves 24 tonnes of CO2 per year. Now, we are moving forward with the installation by investing $300,000 in a 324 kWp system that can generate 2-3% of the site’s electricity. More PV are planned and currently reviewed for sites in Germany and US.

LED Lighting (GOR, RUR, BEA)

At a cost of $0.75m, we upgraded 3,000 light fittings to LED across three plants. This will save 3,000 MWh of energy per year, which exceeds 1% of the total electricity consumption across these three sites. Our target is to have 100% LED lighting, where practical, in all locations across kp.
